SuperSealVOC is compliant in all 48 states.
SuperSealVOC can be used for Stamped Concrete, Stamped Cement, Decorative Cement, Bricks, Acid Stained Cement, Concrete Stains, and Exposed Aggregate. Enhances the natural color of your Brick Pavers and Cement with a “wet” look.
SuperSealVOC can be sprayed on with the Chapin 1949 Concrete Sprayer or applied with a 1/2″ roller cover. You cannot use a plastic “inexpensive” sprayer.
SuperSealVOC will help sand erosion reducing the amount of weeds.
One coat is recommended. Coverage is about 100 sq. feet per gallon or 500 sq. feet per five gallon.
One coat will result in a satin/semi-gloss sheen depending on porosity of brick. Extra coats will result in a higher gloss.
Does this come in a matte
finish?
No, the VOC version does not come in Matte.
Getting ready to seal on Friday but it has been raining for days and will rain until Wednesday AM. Will Friday be too early to seal in terms of exposed aggregate drying enough before sealing?
Friday should be fine as long as it has 2 full days of drying at 70 degrees or so.
Can it be in the 50s the day I seal?
Yes.
Sorry last question. The patio has been cleaned and we have several days of 70s ahead so I’m letting it dry for two days. The mornings are cool so there is an issue with moisture/dew in morning around coping. Is this going to be a problem? Wanting to do this correctly.
Make sure the dew burns or dries off before sealing.
Betterto edge wheresteps and housearewith a brush or roller?
Roller.
Sealer arrives today. Can I apply in late afternoon if still 90 degrees?
It should be okay.
After spraying the sealer do I need to back roll? I have an exposed aggregate patio.
Thanks
No, do not back roll.
Can super seal 25 voc be applied over H&C clear shield solvent based sealer that was applied 3 years ago?
Yes. As long as the HC has not turned white or yellow in color.
Yes.
Sorry for incorrect photos attached earlier. We need to use the SuperSealVOC due to Maryland VOC laws. I want to make sure it will have the wet dark look we are wanting. Like the wetness in photo.
Yes, it will.
Do you recommend using a sprayer or roller?

It does.
What is VOC state?

How soon after the first coat can I apply a second coat?
As soon as the first is dry.
I used Super 30 two years ago. Loved it, but not available in IL now. I have a brown driveway. The 30 seemed brownish. Is 25 the same color?
You ordered brown-tinted Super Seal 30 last time and the 25 or VOC version does not come in that color.
Is it possible to get a small test can (e.g., 15 fl oz) of SupersealVOC Semi-Gloss before committing to the large 5 gallon size?
We have small 2 oz samples: https://www.opwdecks.com/concrete-sealer-samples.htm
Thank you for the response. On the samples page, I don’t see “SuperSealVOC Semi Gloss”. For the SuperSeal products, I see only SuperSeal25, SuperSeal30, SuperSeal Matte, SuperSeal-M, and SuperSeal-A. I live in California, so SuperSealVOC the only SuperSeal option I have.
Sorry, you are correct. We do not have samples of the VOC version.
I have exposed aggregate pool deck. After power washing, on the right are marks from the pool cover, on the left was cut back ground cover. My assumption is this is sealer that has not wore down evenly. Can I seal over, will it blend? Or should I remove it, if so with what?
You will need to pressure wash/clean the dirt/mildew from the ground cover. As for the pool cover, does it look even when wet with water? If so you are okay to seal with the SS VOC.
do you ship to MA?
Yes, we do.
I purchase this sealer last time, but it states matte not semi gloss
That is not the same. See this: https://www.opwdecks.com/matte-gloss.htm
I used SS25 Low VOC but want to change to SUPREME SHIELD SB-600. Do I need to strip and will SB600 still give me that wet look or should i stick too SS25
You would have to strip it all off if you wanted to use the SB-600. The SB-600 gives a wet look without any gloss.
Which one looks better in your opinion. I want the wet look
They both give a wet look. The VOC also gives some shine. Both look great.
Can you apply stripping product for stamped concrete with lite rainfall?
Better when dry.
Does this product have a “shelf life”? I have a small patio so my 5-gallon bucket I bought from you in 2018 still has enough for maybe one more application. Just wasn’t sure if it loses its effectiveness over time?…
12 months if it was opened, a few years if not.
Do I need to reconstitute or clean the residual of the old acrylic sealer that was originally applied to the concrete with Xylene first or will the new coat of SSVOC liquify and mix with the old and adhere effectively?
Ad long as it has not turned white, you are okay.
Thanks…And for the area’s that have turned white? Can I hit it with the xylene first, let it dry and then apply the new coat?
No, you would have to strip it all off first.
We sealed this morning and noticed a few patchy spots. So we have to so the whole patio again or just the patchy spots
Best to do all to ensure an even application.
I am about to order 2 5-gallon containers of SuperSeal 25 VOC and need 3 1-gallon, but can’t find the VOC. Is it offered in 1 gallon drums?
There are not any single gallons for the VOC version.
If we seal before noon, and it rains at night, will it ruin the application?
4-8 hours of drying and you will be okay.
I have been using SuperSeal 25 on my exposed aggregate driveway, walkways and patio for 10 years. It is, again, time to reseal those areas. I have 2 questions – I did not realize in the past that I should have been using VOC product (living in PA)…Yikes! So, do I need to strip the existing sealer before I reseal (please say no cause that is a major p.i.t.a.)? Lastly, does the VOC product hold up as well?
Thanks!
No need to strip. the VOC version works the same.
After power washing or rain how long is best to wait before sealing?
48 hours.
Our stamped concrete is located near our pool, I would like to use the superseal25 voc, how slippery is this when wet?
Typically not too slippery but you can always add this for traction: https://www.opwdecks.com/supergrip.htm
We have stained stamped concrete patio. Like to enhance the color and give glossy and wet look. What product you recommend.
Thanks,
Sukh
Look at the Super Seal VOC or the Super Seal 30: https://www.opwdecks.com/30-higher-gloss.htm
Hi,
I used the SuperSealVOC 25 to seal my stamped concrete pool deck ~2 yeas ago and it is now time to re-seal. Is the SuperSealVOC 25 still the right product, or is there something else I should use, if this is a penetrating sealer?
Thank you.
Stick with the SS25VOC. It is a filming sealer.
Great thank you. That’s exactly what I needed to know.
Can this product be used indoors on a small 2’x4′ brick display?
Sorry but no.
If it has already been applied can I strip it or should I remove the brick?
You can not strip indoors.
Does the gloss fade away in time and just have that wet look without gloss? I find the glossiness a bit tacky. Also, can I use the Supreme Shield SB-350 Low VOC No Gloss later on or do I have to remove SuperSealVOC first?
The gloss will fade over time. You can use the SB-350 on it but it will not remove or dull the gloss of the Super Seal Voc.
Pool deck is increte system with increte clear seal. Time for a recoat, and its hard to obtain the clear seal as a homeowner. This a decent substitute and compatible with the clear seal?
As long as the Increte sealer has not yellowed or turned white, then you should be okay to use the Super Seal VOC.
Why can’t this product be spray?
SuperSealVOC can be sprayed on with the Chapin 1949 Concrete Sprayer. It will not work with any plastic sprayers. Too thick.
what parts of AZ can this be shipped to. Our zip is 85248
This product is 250 VOC compliant for all areas that have VOC restrictions at 250 or less.
here is a pic, and how many gallo s for an area that big, is prob 40 by 40
You will not be able to match new to old exactly. Make sure to clean well all first. The white on the left may be efflorescence and will need to be cleaned off. Try the Supreme Shield SB-600:
https://www.opwdecks.com/wet-look-no-gloss.htm
the white is just the sand, thats all gone and clean now….. that pic was of when it was just finished. once I do the pressure wash ill will send another pic for a better opinion on your side
I have new and old
pavers in my driveway, my goals is for the old to match the new, which sealer should I use?
Not stamped concrete , but a plastic form that leaves ~1/2″ space between cobbles/bricks, which is where the polymeric sand comes in….apply sealer before or after? Thanks!

Is this the right product for new walk made out ofstained concrete mixed on site, and formed with a Quikrete “Walkmaker”? Should sealer be applied before or after polymeric sand? Thanks!
Yes, you can use this sealer on this. Polymeric sand is for brick pavers, not stamped concrete.

Apply after the polymeric sand.

Yes but you cannot get it in the water. Roll or brush on.
Hello, I have one year old decorative stamped concrete patio and would like to buy solvent based acrylic sealer with at least 25% of solids, semi gloss finish.
This would work and is 25% solids.
Hello, I have one year old decorative stamped concrete patio and would like to buy solvent based acrylic sealer with at least 25% of solids, semi gloss finish.
Yes it is breathable. Only one version and it is a semi-gloss, but shine depends on the porosity of your surface.
This sealer breathable? Also, is there a matte or satin version of it? I live in Cali.
This or the Surebond SB-6000
What product do you recommend for a paver wet look seal in California?
Sorry but we only sell it in 5 gallon pails.
I live in NJ and I need a VOC product. Is there any way I can order the one gallon size of VOC Super Seal 25? I have less than 200 Sq ft of stamped concrete to seal
Can the SuperSealVOC be used on Three Rivers Flagstone?
It depends on your traffic and UV exposure. Usually every 18-36 months.
