SuperSeal25 can be used for Stamped Concrete, Stamped Cement, Decorative Cement, Concrete Brick Pavers, Acid Stained Cement, Concrete Stains, and Exposed Aggregate. SuperSeal enhances the natural color of your Brick Pavers and Decorative Concrete with a “wet” look.
SuperSeal25 can be sprayed on with the Chapin 1949 Concrete Sprayer or applied with a 1/2″ roller cover. You cannot use a plastic “inexpensive” sprayer.
SuperSeal25 will help sand erosion reducing the amount of weeds.
One coat is recommended. Coverage is about 100 sq. feet per gallon or 500 sq. feet per five gallon.
One coat will result in a satin/semi-gloss sheen depending on porosity of brick. Extra coats will result in a higher gloss.

Super Seal 25 is not suggested for Clay Pavers.
I have stripped the patio using your Clemons sealer stripper and then sealed using Super seal 25 earlier this year, now 6 month later there is these white dots/spots on the patio. What should I do? Thank you very much…
That is not from the sealer. Not sure what it is. Maybe efflorescence. Is it under the sealer or on top?
It on top of the sealer…
Thanks again
If on top, we are not sure what it could be. Try some Xylene solvent to the affected areas. Apply with a rag or brush and then let it dry.
When I wipe it off with warm water and a rag after it drys it comes back.
we bought the super seal 30 from you and applied it last week, we love the results,,however Some of the locking sand wasn’t sealed properly and started showing bols/alga,,can I re-sand and if yes, do I need to reseal after, or what do you recommend?
You can add sand wherever is needed.
SuperSeal25 – – do you ship this to Canada? If not what products do you ship to Canada for Exposed Aggregate
What do you recommend for this paver. We are in florida, sealed it with Behr water based 2 years ago, we pressured washed it, applied stripper and 1 to 5 muriatic acid . What sealer to bring some color ba k and shine it. Also is it ready to be sealed after sanding and what quantity?
Thank you
Looks at the SuperSeal 25 sealer:
https://www.opwdecks.com/superseal25-semi-gloss-5-gallon.htm
Make sure it is clean before sealing. We would need to know sq footage for the amount needed.
Thanks for the quick response,What is the recommended one compared to super seal 30?
The SS30 is slightly shinier than the SS25.
I was asking coz I was thinking about tinted one..but Im sure you will know more
We would not suggest tinting when applying to pavers.
even with the super seal 30?
Not with pavers.
We live in South Carolina and have a brick floor on our covered screened porch. I have tried several other sealants, but found semi-gloss Super Seal the very best product. It is easy to apply and looks great. Other sealants left a white watermark after a heavy rain, but Super Seal does not. During the year, I use a hose to wash the porch and the dirt washes away, but the seal stays.
And you can use on holy travertine?
Yes. Most use the Supreme Shield SB-600 for travertine: https://www.opwdecks.com/wet-look-no-gloss.htm
Is SuperSeal25 breathable?
Yes.
I want to use this for stone paver with regular sand in between. I want a sealant that will solidify the sand to prevent weeds and to restore some color to the pavers. Will this product work or which one would you recommend?
Yes, it will work. Just make sure to saturate the sand as you are applying.
try again with the picture…
I want to rejuvenate my front sidewalk. Feel stupid but I’m not sure if these are clay or concrete bricks? I think clay, but not sure. Want to select the correct sealer. What do you think? Thank you.
Those are clay pavers. Wet llok and gloss sealers will not work on vlay pavers, they will dry blotchy.
I purchased 5 gallons of SuperSeal25 about 3-4 years ago and have about 1/2 left. Is the product still OK to use on a stamped concrete walk and patio or should I discard the old stuff?
It has most likely gone bad.
also…preferably a cleaner that will be safe for plants and grass since is outside.
Hello. I sealed my patio with this last year after acid staining. what is the best cleaner to use that wont damage surface? Also, is Oxyclean / oxygen bleach OK? I have a deck above the patio and need to use oxyclean to clean the wood.
Oxyclean will not damage the sealer.
I would like to review the application instructions, but I cannot find them. Are they available?
PREPARATION
Clean dirt, wax, grease, oil, and other contaminants from the surface. Be sure to remove any foreign coating unless the previous coating is the same or similar solvent-based sealer. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and sound. Clean oily concrete with CLEANER DEGREASER NEUTRALIZER. Use a bristle brush for heavily oiled spots. If the surface is slick, etch with ETCH & CLEAN and follow with CLEANER DEGREASER NEUTRALIZER. Rinse well with a pressure washer. Allow 24 hours to
dry. Apply only when surface and air temperatures are above 50° F and below 90° F. Do not apply to excessively hot surfaces as rapid drying may cause bubbles to form. For pavers, sweep away any loose sand.
When applying to fresh concrete, wait until all bleed water has evaporated. For best results apply SUPER SEAL-25 with a roller. A brush may be used where the roller won’t reach. Do not pour directly from the can to the concrete. Apply evenly from a can or other metal container with an appropriate roller. Use a long nap roller for exposed aggregate, a medium nap roller for textured surfaces, and a short nap roller for smooth surfaces. Keep roller soaked by dipping on every stroke. Every few feet turn perpendicular to the first coat and cross roll without re-dipping. Wait until the surface is tack-free if applying a second coat. The continual dipping with the first coat gives a heavy application and the cross-rolling allows for an even application. SUPER SEAL-25 may be sprayed using a solvent resistant sprayer. Clean up immediately with aromatic solvent such as A-1 Solvent or Xylene. Do not thin product.
Had patio extended (half is 10 years old half is 45 days old) and used this to seal. Applied two coats. However, part of the new half absorbed most of the sealer like on the first coat. Should I try a third ??? at least on that half? The old part looks good.
No, more it not better and you could have issues with curing correctly. Do it in the Spring.
How soon can you put sealer on new stamped concrete
A few days after install.
What should the weather conditions be to apply this product?
Should this be done in shade or is full sun ok?
55-85 degrees. Sun or shade is okay for applying to pavers. Avoid hot sun if stamped concrete.
Does this have a non-slip surface when wet? If not, which product can be added to it to make it non-slip? Can the tinting product you carry be added?
Use this for anti-slip: https://www.opwdecks.com/supergrip.htm
It can be tinted.
If I use this product on my travertine pool deck, should I add a non slip grip additive?
It is not needed but you can add if you like.
Can this be used to seal a concrete fireplace hearth (we are using wood stove/insert)? Can it handle heat?
No, it is not designed for a fireplace or interior application.
Do you review/recommend any sealers for interiors?
We do not.
We have an entry walkway of stamped concrete, as well as a patio. We have them professionally sealed every few years but would like to seal the walkway ourselves as it was damaged by salt products (duh, I say to my dopey self). I don’t know what type of sealer was used before, different people have done it each time. There are spots on the walk where the coating and color are chipped or worn away. Could I use a small amount of your sealer, mixed with a touch of acrylic craft paint, to touch up the bare spots, then follow with a light coating of clear on the entire walk? Or is that another dumb idea? Thanks, Maureen
Pictures of Driveway with 1 Coat.
No that will not work.
Okay … any suggestions on what will? Maureen
No way that we know of that you can touch up chipped or worn spots prior to applying a sealer.
Delayed response. 1200 to 1500 soft. Approx. Applied 2 coats from 3 five gallon buckets. 2 gallons remain. Driveway looks great with semigloss 30 days later in Florida sun. Waiting for 12 month wear.
I was told to apply 2 thin coats of super sealer on by Clemons, but your directions above say 1 coat will do it. Please explain.
The directions on the product label say 1 coat for pavers at 100 sq feet per gallon.
But you can do two light coats. A long as your net coverage is 100 sq feet per gallon.
Thank you..We have approx 1500 sq feet. we bought 15 gal. Used 6.5 gallons and covered completely and looks great. Sprayed and backrolled. Letting dry overnight. Will spray light coat tomorrow. Which is greater issue…Too little or too much?
Too much.
can I spray super sealer 25 on stained concrete floor
It should be rolled on.
can this be used on travertine pavers in back patio.
Yes.
Is this compliant for the state of Georgia?
Yes.
I have a Unilock paver patio installed a year ago. The total surface of the floor and walls is about 300 sq. ft. Is SuperSeal 25 the right product and, if I want a semi-gloss finish, how many gallons to I need?
Yes, it is the correct product. 3 gallons for 300 sq feet.

Yes it is.
Is the SuperSeal25 Semi-Gloss in the 1-Gallon container non-yellowing?
After full cure it is not prone to being slippery unless there are multiple layers of previous coatings. It has a semi-gloss shine typically.
is super seal 25 slippery? Also, i live in florida, does the semi-gloss cast a shiny reflection?
Shane, what type of decorative concrete surface is the pool deck? You may need to add some Super Grip into the sealer to give some traction if this is a very smooth surface.
Is this good or colored concrete pool deck? I don’t want it really slippery.

No you would want to use the SuperSeal-M on your chimney
I want to seal my chimney. Is this the correct product for that application and will it harm asphalt roofing? Also, may I brush on instead of rolling on?
Thank you,
Robert Thomson
We have been using this sealer for our driveway for the past 4 years. It works great. Lasts about two seasons before we need to reapply
I coated 1000 square feet of concrete pavers in my driveway walkway and patio. Pressure washed first. I put down three coats using roller and sprayer. I've had so many compliments on how good my pavers look now. Everyone Loves the wet look. Previous sealer from big box store only lasted a year. I live in Northwest Florida along the coast.
