Non-Gloss Water Based Sealer
SuperSeal Brick-M is a water based Silicone Water Repellent made of a special hybrid of Silane and Siloxane. SuperSeal-M provides water repellency to porous construction material such as bricks, stone, concrete blocks, mortar, and grout. It is not suitable for very low-porosity substrates such as polished stone. It will not leave a sheen or “wet” look.
The active ingredients in SuperSeal-M Water Repellent Sealer are a mixture of different-size particles, some larger, some smaller to fill different size voids. This ensures good penetration into porous substrates, resulting in good coverage and durable water repellency. Additionally, the active ingredients in SuperSeal-M Water Repellent can chemically react with the substrate, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Water Beads up fast on substrates treated with SuperSeal-M Water Repellent Sealer. The product’s excellent water repellent and fast beading action are immediately apparent. What you will not see is any change in the substrates appearance.
This product offers significant advantages:
- It can be applied to “Green” concrete once bleed water is gone.
- Prevent Spalling from salt and freeze/thaw damage.
- Fast beading action-excellent water repellency.
- Non-SiH: Easy to store and handle.
- Low VOC-Supports your regulatory compliance efforts.

When you roll this on as I understand you saturate the surfaces and what doesn’t soak in after, (how much time) then use a rag to soak that up . Then on vertical surfaces start at top with spray with a back and forth motion working your way to the bottom? Thanks
You do not roll this on and then remove excess with a rag. You just spray it on with a pump sprayer and then let it dry.
Can it be used to seal stucco chimney?
No, it will not work on stucco.

With Super Seal M if one wishes to do a second coat, is there is requirement that it be done within a certain time limit? Wondering if first coat dries too long whether it would block the second coat?
Best to only apply one coat as two may not take.
Can this be used on a brick wall for a shower?
Sure.
We have a 1830’s soft brick interior wall that is loose and crumbly. Eventually, we will re-point it but are low on money. Can we reduce the dust and debris from the brick using a sealant (applied after proper brushing and cleaning)?
A sealer will not help with deteriorating bricks.
So I see that you replied to a customer that this m1 sealer will not work on mortar, especially if it has cracks. But in its description it states it will seal mortar. So I guess my question is, will it seal I non- cracked mortar
It will seal mortar but it cannot fill large cracks in the mortar.
I have a 30 year old concrete driveway that has never been sealed. It has some spalling from winter salt and a few significant cracks. Can you recommend a product to repair the spalling and cracks that will accept your sealer? My neighbors driveway was sealed with your SuperSeal-M last summer and I’m impressed.
Sorry but we do not sell or know of any products to repair the cracks.
Would this be appropriate for a brick backsplash in a kitchen?
Yes.
No sealer will stop the flaking of bricks once this starts to happen.
We have a horizontal brick porch that is over a basement garage tool closet. Water migrates through the brick to the garage tool closet below. Is super seal-M good for sealing the brick porch to eliminate water going through the brick to the basement garage below?
It will stop it from going through bricks but it will not stop it from going through the mortar, especially if the mortar has cracks. Thre is no way to prevent that.
What product can I use to seal the mortar joints?
As we mentioned, thre is no way to prevent water from going through cracks in mortar.
Can I use this on Mexican clay tiles that are around my pool deck?
No, it will not work for clay tiles.
Can I use this product on matte finished, limestone steps and pillar caps and what would be the best way to apply it? They stain really easily from leaves, pollen etc. and I want to find a sealer that will prevent them from staining. Thanks for your help

No you cannot.

My house is part vinyl, brick, and concrete, in that order from top to bottom. During heavy rains, Im thinking water is entering through the brick onto the floor of house. Even my carpet is getting wet. I need to know if you have a good durable sealer that I could apply to the exterior. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The SuperSeal-M is a non flammable product. It can be used on all types of porous stone and concrete.
Is this product safe for a cultured stone hearth?
As long as the concrete surface it porous then you can apply the SuperSeal-M. It needs to penetrate to work.
Can Sper SEal M be re-applied to a concrete driveway that was treated once after the concrete dried but appears to not have been applied thoroughly over the whole driveway? There are areas that do not show any beading of water.I think the process was done hit and miss and I did not observe the processs as it was being done.
Yes you can use this product on a brick chimney. With any sealer you should be careful of getting the sealer on the asphalt shingles.
Is this product ok to use for waterproofing chimneys and will it damage asphalt roofing shingles?
You can apply the SuperSeal-M as soon as the concrete is visibly dry. You cannot apply if it is wet or not hardened yet. It will not puddle if the concrete is dry.
Explain “puddling” of sealer if re-applied and how to prevent it from happening and how to deal with it if it does happen?
If Super Seal M is sprayed directly on newly poured wet concret before it begins to harden, what is the outcome? Can Super Seal M be re-applied at a later time in the correct manner?
It is not applied to wet concrete. It should be visibly dry.
When applying to wet concrete how do you know when you have saturation of surface or is it best to wait until there is drying of the surface?
There is no “maximum” height to apply. 8-12 inches away from concrete is normal. Just saturate surface until wet then move on. Apply in sweeping motion. It is very easy!
When applying super seal m to a concrete driveway with a sprayer what is the correct procedure? What is the maximum height the sprayer nozzle should be from the concrete to insure maximum coverage?
