I am looking to colour and seal the 12-year-old patio. What are the best products and do I need to strip the existing thing
Attached picture is shown with the patio set on it.
Use this: https://www.opwdecks.com/25-semi-gloss.htm
Thanks. Can I use the matte finish one?. Can I mix the colour in it to give the red shade and please suggest one? Would I need to strip off the existing thing before the application
yes, you can use the Matte. You can mix these into them: https://www.opwdecks.com/superseal-tints.htm
You do not need to strip.
Thanks so much. I’ll go for these. One last question. I have another concrete perimeter around my inground pool. should I apply the matt finish on that too (like is it OK to use oil-based one and if it trickles into water)
No, it should not drip into the pool.
I have a stamped concrete with Behr Acrylic stain on top, I prefer a matte to wet finish no gloss. Is the super seal A coat the best product to choose?
No. See this: https://www.opwdecks.com/wet-look-no-gloss.htm
Do you mix the sealer with water?? So of a 5 gallon you make 10 gallons
No, this is not a concentrate.
Do you guys hav that one that you mix with water
No. That is not possible with quality concrete sealers.
I am looking for a water based sealer with 25% +/- solids. Application will be on cement pavers inside a screened in enclosure. Prefer satin finish and mildew retard enhanced. I also prefer to spray rather than roll. I will probably need (02) 5 gal pails. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Last year I ended up with mildew by using a different product.
Either would work for you with about the same benefits. The Masonry Saver will give a richer shine between the two.
I am trying to choose a sealer for my concrete basement floor. The floor is very porous and gives off a lot of dust. We will eventually finish the basement, so this is not something that has to be great for ever, but we would like the affect to last for 4-5 years if possible. We are looking at the masonry saver decorative, and the super seal A material. I would like to understand the benefits and disadvantages of using one over the other.
The SuperSeal-A is a very good sealer but for your Arizona sun I would personally use the SuperSeal25.
Is Super Seal-A as good as Super Seal 25 for outdoor concrete pavers that are subject to the hot Arizona sun all day ? Thank you.
