Defy Wood Cleaner Review

Defy Wood Cleaner is a highly effective cleaning system for exterior wood, deck, and fences. The sodium percarbonate based powdered formulas is an eco-friendly alternative for deck prepping. Used to remove dirt and mold while prepping a deck for application of Defy Exterior Stains.

Defy Wood Cleaner (formerly Timberwash) is an excellent choice for prepping your deck prior to using a stain. Especially effective at prepping for Defy Family of Wood Stains.

Cost per foot is better than average:

Powdered 2.25 pound tub will make 5 gallons of liquid cleaner. The cost to clean 750 square feet of wood is less than $.05 per foot.

The effectiveness of Cleaning:

Defy Wood Cleaner will remove mold, dirt, and extremely failed stains with relative ease. We do suggest scrubbing with a stiff brush or pressure wash at less than 900 psi per foot to not damage the wood.

Application Instructions Tips:

Mix one 2.25 pound tub of Defy Wood Cleaner to 5 gallons of warm water for best results. Apply to deck with a pump up sprayer for best results. Scrub and rinse wood with water. Very simple and effective at prepping your wood.

Highly suggested when prepping for Defy Extreme, Epoxy, Hardwood, and Original Wood Finishes.
