Add some color to your Super Seal acrylic sealers! These tint packs mix into one 5 Gallon of sealer. They will enhance the natural colors of your Brick Pavers and Decorative Concrete surfaces.
Great for worn or old concrete surfaces that need extra color to boost the appearance.
Can be added to solvent based acrylic sealers only:
- SuperSeal25
- SuperSeal30
- SuperSeal Matte
- SuperSeal VOC
Desert Tan | Terra Cotta |
Brick Red | Slate Gray |
Can I use a 5 gal plastic paint bucket to mix the tint with the sealer and then use it all up right away? I don’t have an empty metal bucket to mix the Matte solvent based sealer and I won’t need all 5 gals for my driveway.
Thank you
Yes.
Is there just a clear gloss brown tint like in competing brands.
Super Seal 30 comes in a brown tint option: https://www.opwdecks.com/30-higher-gloss.htm
I don’t know how to reduce the size of the pictures from 10 Mb to 6 Mb Sorry Mike D
You have to edit on your phone first.
Hello, I have sent two pictures of the pavers in my driveway. the first one shows an area that has had some type of auto stain get onto it and have had no luck in removing them. I just power washed the driveway and picture #2 shows it with no stain. I like to purchase the SuperSeal 300 and hope you can pick a tint that works with the color we have as well as possibly coverin g or fixing the area shown. Thank you for your time. Mike D
I have a crazy question, but felt I should ask anyway. I bought a 5 gal container of SS30. I used your slate grey tint to mix, but realized I used too much in the container, to where the result was too paint like. Is there any way to salvage what I have left in the container? Can I dilute it in any way, or will the tint separate in the container as it sits for a period of time? Then I could just use from the top?
Nothing you can do but add more of the SS30 sealer to thin it.
I applied superseal25 with desert tan tint. I missed a spot during application and went back over before finishing. It resulted in this mismatch. What is the best way to correct to uniform the appearance?
You would have to strip it all down to fix this: https://www.opwdecks.com/concrete-sealer-stripper.htm
And then reapply.
can I put a small amount in a container and dilute with water or something else and use it as a touch-up on some scratchec / scuffed pavers?
No, that is not possible.
can this be added to alliance gator satin solvent sealer
Not sure if compatible or not.
My stamped concrete is a brick red. I prefer to change it to a slate gray. Will the slate gray tint cover my brick red concrete?
No, it will not work to cover it 100%.
Can tint be used on stamped concrete? If so how dramatic does it color the “grout” lines. Thanks
Yes, but it will look semi-opaque.
can I add your tint to Dayton Superior’s J35 sealer which is a methyl acrylate I believe solvent based since it’s clean up is with xylene or xylol
Sorry, but we have never heard of this brand to say for certain that it will work or not.
Can the tint be added to supreme shield SB600
No, it cannot. It does work with the Super Seal 25.
Steve, It is a matte or satin shine.
Good Morning,
How much of a shine does the SuperSeal Matte leave on bricks that are sealed?
Thanks,
Steve
Could you mix super Grip and tint at the same time to super seal 25?
JeffM,
The tints are liquid. Only can be used with solvent based sealers. They lightly fade over the years.
Are the tints liquid or powder? How do they stand up to UV color fade in full sunlight? Are they compatible with only solvent based sealers?
Yes you can mix colors. It is best to add just a little tint at a time to gain the desired change of color. Example if you add all the tint the change will be more semi-solid. Half the tint and it is semi-transparent in change. Less then that and you are just slightly changing the look.
RE: Super Seal Tint – I’ve been wanting to find a product like this for some time. Will the product still be transparent and just deepen the color of my paver bricks? Can the terra cotta and brick tints be combined to get a color somewhere inbetween?
